Auction FAQs

I've been experimenting with an auction format to lessen the "go live" frenzy and frustrations with online checkout carts. (And personally, it's been interesting to see how things sell :-).

AUCTION FAQs

  • PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FOR ACTION UPDATES AND A FINAL INVOICE IF YOU WIN! Gmail especially likes to put shopify and auction emails in your spam folder. You will be sent an invoice within an hour of auction close (it's a manual process on my part to ensure accuracy).
  • You will need to create an account on my website in order to bid.  My ecommerce accounts and sales are ran via Shopify (a well known, secure site). I do not share any information, and do not spam you with emails (there is an optional emails list).
  • Pieces will close 5 minutes apart ...so if the first piece closed at 5PM, the next piece will close at 5:05PM to allow time for final bidding.
  • "Place an Automatic Bid" is enabled, so you can put in a "max" bid if you desire. The auction will only increment to the next highest bid, or just above lowest proxy bid if others have been placed.
  • You will receive an email if you are the highest bidder, or if someone outbids you.
  • Auction winners will have two (2) days (48 hours) after auction close to complete the sales transaction. If payment is not completed in this time, the runner-up will be given the option to purchase for the amount of their last bid. If the runner-up decides not to purchase the piece, the item will be listed again for sale.
  • An invoice will be sent shortly after auction closes.
  • I will try to get items packed and shipped within a couple days (usually I drop them off within 1-2 days of auction close.
