Alien Bud Vase 4 inches / 10 cm Tall (B6)

Bud Vase on Speckled Clay

4 x 2 inches (tall x wide),
10 x 5 cm (tall x wide)

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a speckled clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand over many hours. Layers of a white glaze are applied by hand, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).  

The piece is water tight, food and dishwasher safe.
