Cup - 13 oz / 385 ml, Taped Design on Speckled Clay 4 in / 10 cm Tall

Taped design with white glaze on brown speckled clay.

*Note - this cup is prices a little lower than the other because the glaze lines run together in a couple places (just from me applying it a little thick). It still looks great (better than the pictures :-)). It's not technically a defect, I just like to price based on my original intent.

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a speckled clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand over many (many) hours. Layers of a white glaze are applied by hand, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).
