Paradox on Speckled Clay (minor defect), 6.5 in / 16.5 cm Wide

*NOTE - this planter has a small defect on the bottom by the drainage hole. It does not impact functionality or design ...because of this I'm selling it a little less than similar items.

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a speckled clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand over many (many) hours. Layers of a white glaze are applied by hand, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).  

This piece comes with the drip plate shown and there is a drainage hole in the bottom of the planter.
