This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a brown speckled stoneware clay and coated with a simple white glaze. One of the pictures show a green freckle that pops up on these pieces from time to time. It's a naturally occurring "impurity" in the speckled stoneware clay - all part of the process with this clay, so not considered a flaw ...it's a freckle ...highlighted so it's not a surprise freckle :)
