White Speckled Vase, 8.5 in / 21.5 cm Tall

8.5 x 7.5 inches (tall x wide),

21.5 x 19.5 cm(tall x wide)

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a speckled clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand over many hours. Layers of a white glaze are applied by hand, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).  

This vessel is water tights, food and dishwasher safe.
