9 ounce Tumbler on Speckled Clay (T2)

Tumbler on Speckled Clay 9 ounces (closer to 10) / 260ml

3.5 x 3.25 inches (tall x wide),
9 x 8.5 cm (tall x wide)

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a speckled clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand over many (many) hours. Layers of a white glaze are applied by hand, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).
