Planter on Speckled Clay (SORT OF A SECOND)*

3 x 4 inches (tall x wide),
8 x 10 cm (tall x wide)

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a speckled clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand over many (many) hours. Layers of a white glaze are applied by hand, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).

This piece comes with the drip plate shown and there is a drainage hole in the bottom of the planter.

*Note - this piece has a couple spots where the glaze separated from the surface more than my original intent (shown in the third picture).  While some people won't notice or care, I still reduced the price. I did not mark it as a "second"
