Wavy Planter on Red Clay, 5.75 in / 14.5 cm Tall

5.75 x 5 inches (tall x wide),

This piece was thrown by me on a pottery wheel using a smooth red clay.  After the initial bisque firing, I apply a pattern with thin detailing tape by hand. Layers of a white glaze are brushed on the surface, the tape removed, another round of cleanup, and then the final firing to over 2,000 degrees F (1,090 C).  

This piece comes with the drip plate shown and there is a drainage hole in the bottom of the planter.
